Balboa Park

24x20inches . . . . . acrylic on canvas, 2011

While taking a break from exploring the museum and gardens at Balboa Park in San Diego, I saw this man apparently trying to figure out his new phone. Now that I think about it, he could have just been scrolling through social media or shopping on Amazon. At any rate, his look and space in the sunshine caught my eye and I made sure I included him in the background of a photo I took of my sister-in-law.
